Dan Rule is a Melbourne-based writer, critic, editor and publisher with over a decade's experience writing on contemporary art, music and culture more widely.
He is currently an art critic and weekly columnist for The Age newspaper in Melbourne, the Contributing Editor for Melbourne and Sydney cultural publication Broadsheet,
and has contributed to various publications including The Sydney Morning Herald, Dazed & Confused, Oyster, Artist Profile and Music Australia Guide.
He has interviewed some of the world's most influential contemporary artists and musicians including Yayoi Kusama, Tracey Emin, Gilbert & George, AES+F, Pipilotti Rist, Stephen Shore, Nas and Erykah Badu.

Utako Shindo is an artist who lives and works in Tokyo, and completed her Master of Fine Art degree at The University of Melbourne in 2008.
Her recent shows include ‘Miru Milieu/See Site’ at Sutton Gallery Project Space in Melbourne (2009) and ‘Behold’ at Youkobo ART SPACE in Tokyo (2010).
She also coordinates international projects such as ‘Immanent Landscape’, which gathered eight Australian and Japanese artists to hold residencies, exhibitions and talks in both countries from 2010 to 2012.
She also participates to artist-run organizations, as a committee member at West Space in Melbourne and as a staff at Youkobo ART SPACE.
