John Martyn was born in Jubail, Saudi Arabia on June 12, 1983.
John studied abroad at Sophia University in Tokyo in 2006 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs from George Mason University in 2007.
After college he worked at investment firm BlackRock in New York. In 2010, John co-founded ABCLoop with his brother Billy and business partner Franky, an online language learning community.
